Hands that paint
with sugar.
Art Inside is the atelier of Evgenia — an artist who chose cream, chocolate and sugar as her medium.
From a kitchen table
to an atelier.
I never wanted to bake cakes that simply looked nice. I wanted to make things that stop you for a moment — the way a painting or a landscape does. Somewhere between patisserie and sculpture, I found my language.
Originally from Ukraine and now at home in Switzerland, I carry two worlds with me: the warmth and generosity of the tables I grew up around, and the precision and quiet beauty of the country I live in today. Both are in everything I make.
Every commission starts with a conversation, becomes a sketch, and slowly turns into something you can touch, cut and share. That transformation — from feeling to form to a moment at the table — is what Art Inside is about.
Evgenia
Three quiet principles.
No piece begins in the kitchen. It begins with a place, a person or a memory worth telling.
Petals, textures, brushstrokes — modelled and painted by hand, one at a time. No moulds where fingers can go.
Art you can eat should be worth eating. Under every sculpture is a genuinely good cake.
How I got here.
First cakes at home
Birthdays for family and friends — and the discovery that a cake can carry more feeling than a gift.
Training & craft
Years of patisserie technique, sugar work and food-safe painting — learning the rules well enough to bend them.
A new home in Switzerland
Falling for the landscapes, the villages, the light — and wondering what they would taste like as art.
Art Inside is born
The atelier opens, and with it the 26 Cantons journey: one edible artwork for every canton of Switzerland.
